Families, There has been no update on inclement weather dismissal today. IF we get any updates, a message will be sent out as soon as possible. Please remember, our inclement weather procedure is that students will go home as they typically do on that day. IF you wish to change the way your student will get home, you must fill out the daily transportation form located on our website under parents tab- transportation tab- DAILY parent pick up. This form turns off at 2:40. This helps us keep office traffic down during an already hectic time! We appreciate your help!

Boone Counth Schools will operate on a 2 hour delay today. Doors will open for parent drop off at 10:15 and close at 10:40. Students will be considered late at 10:40. School will end at 3:40.

BOYS BASKETBALL SIGNUPS! It is that time of year again: time for Longbranch Boys Basketball! If your 4th or 5th grade son is interested in participating in the Longhorns Basketball program, please follow the link below and complete the online registration form. There is a $20 fee for participation. The season will begin on February 19th with Skillz ‘N’ Drillz Night. PRACTICES AND GAMES WILL ALWAYS BE TUESDAY AND THURSDAY EVENINGS. Please keep this in mind when signing up. The tentative game schedule is: Game 1 – March 5th Game 2 – March 12th Game 3 – March 19th Game 4 – March 24th Game 5 – March 26th Championship Games – April 2nd We are also looking for PARENT VOLUNTEER COACHES for the teams. Our volunteer coaches are what makes this program happen, so if you (or your spouse, or another family member) ARE interested in coaching, then please sign-up! We do require that our coaches complete a BACKGROUND CHECK prior to our first practice. This can be done in the LBES office. Signups will CLOSE on February 13th, and Skillz ‘n’ Drillz night is Feb. 19th from 5:30 – 6:30PM. Parent Info sheets AND schedules will be available then AND you can pay your fees via check (made out to Longbranch Elementary) or cash, so please try to attend! IF you keep your child home due to weather conditions, you must call the school and let us know that OR send in a note stating the reason for the absence was for weather. It will be a principal excuse. The note must be turned within 10 days of the absence. Thank you
