Boone County Schools
The Boone County Board of Education is the official policy making body for the Boone County School System. The Board, along with the Superintendent, sets the school system's mission and goals. The Board of Education holds meetings throughout the year on a regular schedule. The five board members are elected from individual divisions. One non-voting student member also serves on the Board. The Boone County Board of Education meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Ralph Rush Professional Development Center (99 Center Street in Florence) unless otherwise noted on meeting agenda.
BOARD OF EDUCATION E-MEETINGS
The Boone County Board of Education is using the EMeeting Board Agenda system from the Kentucky School Board Association in an effort to reduce cost, increase efficiency, eliminate unnecessary paperwork, increase communication, and enable board members, staff and the community to utilize the latest in technology (ipad and smartphone compatible) to access board meeting materials. Complete agendas (with attachments) are posted on the website the Friday before the board meeting and the condensed agenda is on the right of this page under the meeting date (agenda). By accessing the EMeeting portal you may review the agenda and all materials involving the agenda items by simply clicking on the attachment directly under the agenda items.
